Coworkings in Barcelona compete to retain members. Decent coffee, soundproof phone booths, plants, events. The next thing — the one most spaces haven’t solved well — is food.
Here’s what happens in most coworkings today: members order Glovo, plastic bags pile up in the common area, and the 2 PM conversation is “what did you order?” with the inflated platform prices. It’s not a huge problem. But it’s a real opportunity.
What we offer
A chef-cooked meal programme for the members of your space. Not one-off catering — a recurring weekly service that fits your rhythm:
- Individual lunches, delivered fresh on the days you choose (Mon/Wed, or Mon/Wed/Fri, whatever works).
- Hot or cold buffet for common areas — if your space has a kitchen where we can drop bigger trays.
- Healthy snacks — bars, prepared fruit, hummus with crudités, mixed nuts — delivered weekly.
- Event catering — launches, demo days, all-hands. Real food, not frozen finger food.
How it gets billed
Three models, depending on what makes sense for you:
- The coworking pays, includes it in the membership plan as a perk. Useful for differentiating from the competition or for landing the company-team segment.
- Members pay, you handle the logistics. We send a weekly menu, members reserve, we deliver. Zero cost to the coworking, just coordination.
- Mixed — the coworking subsidises part (e.g. one lunch a week free), members pay the rest.
Prices drop with volume. For 20+ meals/week we’re talking reasonable per-person rates (≈ €12–15/meal on a recurring plan). For one-off events, detailed quote.
Who’s behind it
Frank Diaz is the chef. Over thirty-five years cooking — including stints at starred restaurants, a Madrid Fusión 2019 award, and ten years running a small operation delivering home-cooked food to Barcelona households. Not a dark kitchen. Not a brand with five rotating suppliers. A kitchen with a chef who knows exactly what goes in and what comes out.
For coworkings, Frank works with an expandable team scaled to volume. We have capacity to serve 20 to 150 meals per drop without losing the quality we deliver to individual households.
What we don’t do
- No vending-machine competition. No industrial sandwiches, no processed snacks.
- No Glovo, no Uber Eats, no third-party couriers. Our own delivery, our own cold chain.
- No long contracts. One week’s notice to pause or change the model. If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work.
How to start
Easiest path: fill in the form at the bottom with “Coworking” in the segment, put the space details in the comments field (name, location, approximate member count, what type of service interests you). Frank calls or comes by, gets a feel for the space, proposes a 2-week pilot with a concrete menu and a clear price.
If it works, we scale. If not, we leave it without discussion.
